Denise Lennon
Denise joined the UIC in mid-2006 from a career in the Rail Industry. She first came across the UIC in 2003 when she attended a Universal Improvement Skills Course and has since been exposed to the UIMPROVE approach at Team Events and through the National Express Professional Performance Programme. She has taken the approach and applied it in the real world to facilitate meetings, run Team Events and manage projects.
Denise began her career as Quality & Environmental Engineer. She decided that she needed more front line management experience and undertook a Senior Management Training Programme, which enabled her to see every aspect of the organisation. She undertook several projects and went on to carry out a variety of operational management roles. Denise has worked on Railway Franchise Bids and gained lots of sharp end managerial experience in her roles as Head of Conductors and Service Delivery Centre Manager for Silverlink Metro.
Denise brings to the UIC a wide range of practical experience, having worked in both front-line positions and senior management posts.
