Bali
Bali started her career in the voluntary sector working for a number of small charities. Her first contact with the UIC was in 1997 when she was trained as a Facilitator. Following a year teaching English in Barcelona, Bali joined the UIC in 1999 working with a wide range of clients in both the UK and Australia. After 7 years with the UIC, Bali moved on to a series of real jobs in the National Health Service – working in the ambulance service, a Primary Care Trust, a cancer network and NHS England. In 2014 Bali gave up her job, converted an old Ford Transit ice cream van and set up her own business selling Indian Street food at festivals, private parties and markets. The ‘Wrapmobile’ van (as featured on Countryfile) can regularly be spotted at food markets around the UK.
Bali has used UIMPROVE throughout her varied career and is currently working as the lead associate for the UIC in the UK. She also works as a Facilitator in the NHS as part of the General Practice Improvement Programme (GPIP) (She still occasionally delves into the world of food for very special occasions).
Bali has used UIMPROVE throughout her varied career and now combines her new culinary direction with working as an associate for the UIC (and occasionally catering for our Team Meetings).
